Ord (NE) Quiz, Thursday, April 19, 1973, Page 7, Column 6: Obituary of Katherine R. Sautter Mrs. Katherine R. Sautter, 85, died Apr. 11 at Valley County Hospital after being hospitalized ten days. Funeral services for Mrs. Sautter were held Saturday at the United Methodist Church of Scotia. Burial was in the Mount Hope Cemetery at Scotia. Born Oct. 20, 1887 in Greeley county, Mrs. Sautter was the daughter of George and Barbara Perling [sic] Klein. At the age of seven she moved with her parents to Ballinger, Tex., and made her home there until 1910. On Feb. 28, 1912, she was united in marriage to Albert Sautter at Sanger, Tex. After marriage they returned to Scotia which had since been her home. She was an active member of the Scotia United Methodist Church and also a member of the Neighborly Club. Survivors are her husband, Albert; one daughter Mrs. Raymond Toogood, North Loup; one son Clarence Sautter, Scotia; one sister Mrs. Hannah Leamon of Scotia. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and three sisters.
