Grand Island (Nebraska) Herald, 1 March 1938, page 1 Scotia. - Mrs. P. L. Stubblefield, 56, residing four miles northeast of Scotia, died suddenly at her farm home Monday evening at 10 o'clock. Mrs. Stubblefield had been in poor health since the death of her husband last September. She came to Greeley county with her parents in 1877 and settled on the farm on which she lived for more than fifty years.
