Ord (NE) Quiz, Thursday, December 6, 1973, Page 8, Column 3: Services Thursday For Fred Sautter Fred Sautter died Dec. 3, 1973 at his home in Scotia. Fred Wilbur Sautter was the son of Jacob C. and Emma Richard Sautter, born at the family farm near Scotia on June 6, 1907. He was married to Flo Faye Perry on Feb. 14, 1929 at the Methodist parsonage in Greeley. The couple farmed in the Scotia area until his retirement in 1956. Their home has since been in Scotia. He was a member of the Scotia United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Flo; one son Willis of Fresno, CA; one daughter Mrs. Sam (Shirley) Jensen of Scotia; nine grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. George (Esther) Meyer, Mrs. George (Zena) Barnes and Mrs. John (Luella) Gydesen all of Scotia; four brothers William, J.Y., and Albert all of Scotia and Benjamin of Grand Island. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers Edward, Leonard and Elmer.
