Bio
Margaret Fay Jaecks, born on March 23, 1928, went home to her Lord on June 11, 2012 after a courageous battle with cancer. Her life ended in the same manner in which she lived – with grace, strength, love and concern for others. In her final days, her only concern was that her family would be alright after she was gone. Margaret was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She adored her three daughters and son-in-laws, Deborah and Ricky Williams, Sheila Roper, and Janet and Rick Terrell. She is also survived by grandchildren, Bryan, Kristine, Travis, Megan, Daniel and Matthew; great grandchildren, Austin, Justin, Cody and Layla; and great-great-grandchildren, Blair, Bailey Elizabeth and Valarie. She leaves behind her precious friends Joel Evans, Kelly Haertig, Hugh Mills and many others. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Willis, son-in-law Dale and grandchildren James, Shannon and Sandra. Margaret was a founder and lifetime member of the First Christian Church in Elgin, Texas. To her family she leaves a legacy of strength, courage, love and endless happy memories. We will miss Mommy everyday but rejoice in the knowledge that we will be reunited one day. A visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 14, 2012, at the First Christian Church in Elgin. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the First Christian Church.
