Bio

Charlie was the son of Joseph Cermak, and came to America in his early twenties from the Czech Republic. He was a professional tailor and musician. His brother-in-law told him of a beautiful girl here, so he came to Texas and married her (Rose). They lived eight miles east of Crockett on Highway 21 and raised seven children. Charlie was a widow, living at Route 4, Crockett, Texas when he passed away, and had lived in Crockett 60 years. He was a farmer.
