Greer, 84, who died here Thursday night after a lengthy illness, were held at the Dennis Funeral Home Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with interment in the Pine Grove cemetery. Mr. Greer, a resident of Minden for the past 16 years, was born at Arizona, La. He is survived by his widow, the former Miss Maggie Miller; two sons, Reginald Greer of the state of Washington and L. Alma Greer of Winona Texas and Mrs. L.R. Vines of Birmingham, Alabama.
