Bio

Lorraine Laudenklos, age 81, of Columbus died Friday, June 8, 2012. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Isidore Catholic Church in Columbus with Rev. Joseph A. Miksch officiating. Interment will be in the St. Bonaventure Cemetery in Columbus. Visitation will be held on Tuesday 5-8 p.m., with a 8 p.m. vigil, continuing Wednesday from 9:30-10:30 all at St. Isidore Catholic Church. Lorraine Rose Laudenklos was born May 13, 1931 to Frank and Rose (Knapp) Sixta in Clarkson, Nebraska. She grew up in Clarkson where she met the love of her life Donald D. Laudenklos. They were united in marriage on August 26, 1952. From this union they had four children; Kathy (Kurt) Barcel, Don (Mary Jo) Laudenklos, Judy (Greg) Scribner and Jim (Tanya) Laudenklos. Lorraine shared her faith and love with everyone she met. Her children, spouses, grandchildren and great grandchildren were the love of her life. She referred to all of them as "Diamonds". Everyone that ever knew her will cherish her memories, her wit and her love. She is survived by her Children; 10 Grandchildren; Jenny (Joe) Quigley, Angie (Scott) Trausch, Nick (Lisa) Barcel, Jason (Rachelle) Barcel, Tammi (Brett) Ruoff, Heather (Brett) Johnson, Tyler (June) Laudenklos, Luke Scribner, Stephanie (Chris) Giese, Emily Laudenklos; 13 Great Grandchildren; Joey Quigley, Caitlin Quigley, Zach Quigley, Jaylen Naber, Grant Trausch, Morgan Trausch, James Laudenklos, Taylor Barcel, Logan Barcel, Tristan Laudenklos, Easton Giese, Ethan Barcel, Noah Johnson; Sister; Adeline Smejkal She was preceded in death by: her parents: Frank & Rose Sixta; husband: Donald Laudenklos; brother: Frank J. Sixta, Jr.
