Monument for my great grandparents John and Anna Kolousek at the Catholic cemetery at Crow Lake, SD. John: 1851-1925; Anna: 1859-1943. They moved to Crow Lake from Cleveland, Ohio, shortly after the turn of the 20th Century. They both came from what is now Czech Republic and some of the Kolousek boys were born in the old country. My grandmother was born two weeks after they landed. Imagine how tough Anna was to be pregnant and emigrating to a new county by sea voyage at the same time
