Bio
Mildred Greenwalt, 91, long time Loveland resident, passed away April 5, 2011 surrounded by her family at Pathways Hospice Unit at McKee Medical Center. Mildred was born February 8, 1920 in Seward, Nebraska to parents Rudolph and Lillian Schroeder. She attended school in Colorado and later met her husband, Harold Greenwalt. They were married December 12, 1937. Together they raised four daughters on the farm, and supported them in horseshows, rodeos and 4-H events. For more than forty years Mildred enjoyed working in several retail stores. She loved meeting people, traveling with her daughters, trips to Blackhawk, and sharing stories about the good, old days. She was a mentor to many, young and old. Mildred is preceded in death by her husband, Harold; brother Floyd and grandson Jared Roselle. She is survived by her daughters; sister; 8 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Inurnment at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
