Barbara Enzminger, 78 of Columbus died Thursday, June 7, 2012 at Creighton Medical Center in Omaha. Barbara Jean (Delarm) Enzminger was born December 13, 1933 in Ericson, NE to Howard and Amelia (Kolbush) Delarm. She was the third of seven children. Moved to Columbus as a child where she graduated from St. Bonaventure High School in 1951. On June 4, 1955 Barbara was united in marriage to Carroll Enzminger at St. Bonaventure Church. To this union, Barb and Carroll adopted two children, Carol Lynn and Sandra. Barbara worked various jobs, including working as a secretary at Williams School. In 1977 they moved to Bassett, NE where Barb worked various volunteer jobs and was a homemaker. They returned to Columbus in 2009. She was a member of St. Isidore Catholic Church in Columbus and Holy Cross Catholic Church in Bassett where she served in various capacities. Barb enjoyed bowling, fishing with her husband, and gardening. She is survived by: Husband Carroll Enzminger of Columbus Daughter Carol Lynn (Gary) Muth of Columbus Daughter Sandra Enzminger of Columbus Sister Joan Timms of Hastings, NE 9 Grandchildren: Trev, Jamey, Jakob, Jesse, Isaiah, Sara, Joe, Eli, and Jordan 1 Great Granddaughter Kathryn She is preceded in death by: Parents 4 Brothers 1 Sister 1 Brother in infancy In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Isidore Debt Reduction fund or to a favorite charity.
