The Bonham News Bonham, Texas Tuesday, 30 Mar 1915, Page 1 Little Girl Dies Of Burns Death Came After Several Days Of Suffering At The Hospital Some days ago one of The News correspondents wrote of the accident - a scalding of a little girl, Pocahontas Brianlee, at the home of her parents a few miles north of Bonham. The child stumbled and fell backwards into a tub of scalding water that the mother was using in souring the house. The child's back was terribly scalded and she was brought here to the hospital and all was done for her that could be done, but the burns were too severe to permit of her recovery, and she died Friday night.
