MYRTLE ROUNDY FOWLER, 79, Provo, and formerly of Richfield, died Oct. 7, 1990, Provo. She was born April 16, 1911, Mapleton, to Samuel Edmund and Cassie D. Fullmer Roundy. She was married to Lynn Fowler, May 14, 1917, Orem; later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. He died Dec. 3, 1987. She and her husband owned an operated Lynn's Cafe in Richfield for many years, and later in Provo. She was a member of the LDS Church and served on a stake mission and worked with the Indians, many of whom resided in her home. She and her husband served together in the Provo LDS Temple doing sealing work. Survivors: children, Edmund Lathel "Thel", Provo; Merlyn, Syracuse; Mrs. Kyle (Joy) Jacobson, Sigurd; Acil Duane (Pete), Sandy; 17 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; great-great grandchild; brothers, sisters, Robert Acil (Ace) Roundy, Richfield; Edmund H. Roundy, and Mrs. Morris (Ada) Taylor, both Springville; Mrs. GOlden (Thelma) Blair, Glenwood Springs, Colo. Funeral services will be thursday at 2 p.m. in the Provo Ninth LDS Ward chapel. Friends may call Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Walker Mortuary, 85 East 300 South, Provo, and one hour prior to services at the church Thursday.
