Wahoo Newspaper (NE) - Tuesday, January 12, 2010 WAHOO – Helen Dorothy Malousek, 99, of Wahoo, died Jan. 10 at South Haven Living Center in Wahoo. Malousek was born on April 29, 1910, to Joseph and Antonia (Lukas) Bouc near Ceresco. She attended District School 118 and then graduated from Weston High School in 1928. After high school she received her degree from the Lincoln School of Commerce. She worked for Banker's Life in Lincoln, managed the Federal Land Bank Farm Loan Office in Omaha and then worked as a secretary for Haessler Sullivan and Quist Law office in Wahoo for many years until she retired. She was a member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Wahoo, St. Ludmilla's Guild, member and past president of the Altar Rosary Society, past Regent and member of the Catholic Daughters Our Lady of Peace 1956, past president of the Parish Council and the Wahoo Deanery, served on the board of the Lincoln Diocesan Council of Catholic Women, president of the PCCW and organized the St. Wenceslaus Rosary Maker's Group. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, George Bouc, Sr.; sisters, Rose Rezac, Marie Jonas and Anna Meduna. She is survived by sisters, Emily Bouc and Lillian Zimola of Wahoo; many nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 15 with Catholic Daughters Rosary at 9:30 a.m., all at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Wahoo. Interment will be at St. Francis Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, Jan. 14 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. with an Altar Rosary Society Rosary at 3 p.m. at South Haven Living Center Chapel in Wahoo followed by visitation from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Svoboda Funeral Home in Wahoo. Casket bearers will be Michael Rezac, Robert Meduna, Sr., Richard Zimola, Mark Bouc, Brian Bouc and Steve Zimola. Honorary bearers are Richard J. Rezac, George Bouc, Jr. Roger Noonan and Bob Sullivan. Memorials may be made for Masses or St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church. Svoboda Funeral Home of Wahoo is in charge of the arrangements.
