When Alice E. Urbanek Pickrel-Ross-Smith was born on October 29, 1913, in Seward, Nebraska, her father, Edward, was 29, and her mother, Terazia, was 25. She was married three times. Her first marriage was to Roy Pickrel and had one son (Chris) and two daughters (Patty and Peggy). She remarried Jim Ross, then remarried Everett Smith. She died on October 18, 1992, in Ponca City, Oklahoma, at the age of 78, and was buried in Blackwell, Oklahoma.
