Clara Smith HuntKERRVILLE, Clara Smith Hunt, born Clara Opal Smith in Farmersville, Texas, on Aug. 21, 1915, died Feb. 26, 2010, at the age of 94, in Kerrville, Texas. She attended two years of college at North Texas State Teachers College, after which she went to work for the War Department. She married William C. Hunt Jr. in 1952 and lived in Dallas until 2006, when she moved to Kerrville to live with her daughter, Beth H. Cooley. She was a member of the DAR, DAC and the Colonial Dames. She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, William Clifton Hunt Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Beth Hunt Cooley of Kerrville and her three daughters and their spouses; daughter and son-in-law, Lora Hunt Kochhar and Rick Kochhar and their two sons of Charlotte, N.C.; and son and daughter-in-law, William Clifton Hunt III and Elizabeth J. Hunt of Dallas. There will be no formal services. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
