OH--Ashtabula Star Beacon...15 Feb 1995 HAZEL MAY STANFORD: Williamsfield; 99, died Tuesday [2-14] at her home. She was born 19 Mar 1895 in Williamsfield, a dau of Alvin Tidd & Sarah Feather. A lifelong Williamsfield resident, she married Pearl Stanford 10 Dec 1913. Mrs Stanford was a member of Wiliamsfield United Methodist Church & was past president of the Missionary Society there. She also was the last of the original members of the Williamsfield Old Chums Club. She had worked as a cook at the former Isaly's store in Andover, as well as at the Andover School. She also taught piano in her home. Survivors include a daughter: LenoreA Floyd-Arlington VA; 13 grandchildren; 26 gr-grand-children & 6 gr-gr-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband-1965; a brother Elton Tidd-in WW2; sisters-Gladys Stanford-1967 & Eleanor Linsley-1972; sons: Richard Stanford-1992; Warren Stanford-1994; dau: Joan Wiley-1993 & a granddau-Patricia Stanford. Service will be Saturday morning [2-18] at the Baumgardner Funeral Home-Kinsman. Burial will be in Kinsman Cemetery.
