GLEN D. WESTERGARD Glen Denning Westergard, 68, a well-known Idaho Falls general contractor, died December 13, 1990, at Lutheran Hospial in Mesa, Arizona of heart failure. He was born May 10, 1922, at Iona, Idaho to Peter Holst and Sarah Adelle Denning Westergard. He attended schools at Ammon and graduated from Ammon HIgh School. He served in the Army during World War II in the Phillippines and with the Occupation Forces in Japan. He married Thelda Hansen on October 21, 1942, at Preston, Idaho. The marriage was solemnized in the3 Idaho Falls LDS Temple December 6, 1956. She died June 2, 1973. He married Ruby Margaret Willardsen Thompson April 3, 1981, in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. He was a general building contractor; cabinet maker, silver smith and jewelry maker. He was a member of the Planning and Zoning Commission for the City of Idaho Falls for many years. He was an active member of the LDS Church and served as bishop, high councilman, Sunday school superintendency, temple officiator, Sunday school teacher and home teacher. He and his wife Ruby served a mission to Santa Rosa. He is survived by his wife of Idaho Falls; three daughters, Mrs. David (Julie Ann) Humphreys of Idaho Falls, Mrs. Gary (Jann) Green of St. George, Utah;
