Catchings Funeral Home McComb, MS Mrs. Bobbie Brown Stewart, 89, of McComb, died March 1, 2012, at McComb Nursing & Rehabilitation. Visitation is Sunday, March 4, 2012, from 1:00 P M until services at 2:00 P M at Catchings Funeral Home in McComb, MS with burial in the Hollywood Cemetery. Officiating the service will be Dr. Woody Rimes. Pallbearers are Ken Wilkinson, Jimmy Hardy, Phillip Alford, Jody Dean, Don Geddie and Robert Brown. Catchings Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Mrs. Stewart was born in Pike County, MS on May 8, 1922 to Melvin B. Brown and Ruby Bazoon Brown. She was a retired retail clerk, having worked at Jack Brown Grocery, Sunflower Grocery and Alford's Flowers. She was a member of Pearl River United Methodist Church of McComb. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Survivors include: 2 sons: Jack Stewart and wife Ginger of Summit and Roger Stewart and wife Lisa of Summit; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by parents, husband: Odessa Stewart, son: Charles Melvin Stewart, sisters: Beatrice B. Edwards and Leona B. Gatlin, and brother Jackie Brown.
