Grand Island Herald, published in Grand Island, Nebraska Tuesday, 31 January 1933, page 1 Funeral services will be held at two o'clock Thursday afternoon at the O'Loughlin-Livingston funeral home for William Busig, who died at his home eleven miles north of Grand Island yesterday morning. Death followed an illness of eight months. Rev. R. J. Roy of the Seventh Day Adventist church will officiate and burial will be in the Grand Island cemetery. Mr. Busig was born July 1, 1871, in Macon county, Ill., and moved with his family to Jefferson county at the age of seven. They moved to Howard county nine years later where he grew to manhood. William was united in marriage to Miss Julia Wendt at Grand Island, February 21, 1894. They immediately located on a farm northwest of the city. Two daughters were born of this union. Besides his widow, Mrs. William Busig, there are left to mourn his loss the daughters, Mrs. William Bullock and Mrs. Henry Bullock of this city, a brother, Henry living in Howard county, two sisters, Mrs. Frank Dunham and Mrs. Will Dunham, also of this city, and four grandchildren. One brother and one sister preceded him in death.
