Died 3 p.m. Tuesday, March 17, 1987, at her residence in Baton Rouge. She was 79, and a native of Hackleburg, Ala. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 8:30 a.m. until religious services at 10 a.m. Friday, conducted by the Rev. Arbie Goings Jr. Graveside services at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Slidell, 1 p.m. Friday. Survived by a daughter, Mary Eugenia Cambre, Slidell; two sons, Robert L. Spencer, Huntsville, Ala., and James G. Spencer Jr., Baton Rouge; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Published in The Advocate (Baton Rouge, LA), Thursday, March 19, 1987
