Bio

Mrs. Reba Mae Virginia Collins, age 66 of Kennard, passed away Sunday, April 11 at her residence in Kennard. She was born June 21, 1915 in Houston County and was a lifetime resident of the county. She was a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Ward Collins of Kennard; daughter, Mrs Wardette Harrison of Crockett; two sons, Richard Collins of Nacogdoches and Joe Collins of Lufkin; three sisters, Miss Sammye Renee Green of Charlotte, Texas, Mrs Mary Jo Toomey of Del Reo, and Mrs Monte Cryer of Charlotte, Texas; one brother, George Robert Green of Berger and five grandchildren. Funeral services were held April 13 at 10:30 a.m. from the Ratcliff Baptist Church, with Rev. Frank Oswald officiating. Interment was in Conner Cemetery. Pallbearers were Chester Collins, Joe Collins, Rick Collins, Bubba Cryer, James A Best and Fred Harrison. Callaway Funeral Home
