Olga Prasek, 96, passed away on Tuesday, November 6, 2012. She was born in Temple, TX, on Nov. 7, 1915, to Joe and Rosie Jez. She lived in Crosby, TX, and she sang in the choir at Crosby Brethren Church and took part in the Christian Sisters. She loved to cook kolaches, noodles and homemade bread. She enjoyed feeding her chickens, fishing, crocheting and sewing clothing for her children. She was a loving mother and wife. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Prasek; son, Allan Prasek; parents, two brothers, three sisters, two step sisters and one step brother. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Jeanette Giles (Windell), Lorene Ericson (Wayne), Edith Stohr (Robert), C.A. Prasek (Kathy), Arthur Prasek (Lolreen) and Charleen Sikora; 21 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Earthman Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Friday, Nov. 9, 2012, at 10:00 a.m., at Crosby Brethren Church, 5202 1st St, Crosby, TX. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
