The Bonham Daily Favorite Bonham, Texas Thursday, 25 Jan 1962, Page 3 G. O. Dozier Dies; Rites Friday A.M. Grover O. Dozier, 75, whose residence was at 413 West 7th street, died in the M&S hospital in Bonham Wednesday, Jan. 24, 1962, following a short illness. Services will be held at Wise Funeral Home chapel at 11 o'clock Friday morning with the Rev. W. T. Stephenson, pastor of the First Methodist church, officiating and assisted by the Rev. Charlie Graves, Methodist pastor of Sherman. Interment will be in the Gober cemetery. Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Ada Dozier of the home in Bonham; three brothers, Homer Dozier of Anson, Odie Dozier of Dallas and Philip Dozier of Greenville; two sisters, Mrs. May Hale of Dumas and Mrs. Collie Smith of Sherman; a number of nieces and nephews. Mr. Dozier was born in Dyersburg, Tenn., Sept. 19, 1886. He was custodian at the First Methodist church for a number of years.
