Bio
Delmar, the small son of Mr. and Mrs. Victor Larson, died suddenly Friday forenoon after less than twenty-four hours illness at the home of his grandfather, William Leininger. While playing in the yard with his dog Thursday afternoon he became suddenly ill and gradually grew worse until the end Friday. Delmar Eugene Larson, only child of Mr. and Mrs. Victor Larson, was born on December 4, 1922 and went to his home in Heaven on February 11, 1927, aged 4 years 2 months and 7 days. Delmar was an unusually bright, affectionate little fellow and had in the few years of his earthly (sic) (a line appears to have been left out) Life cannot be measured by years. The few days he spent here were perhaps enough for him to finish his task and he went back to the Father. Who can tell how much he accomplished in bringing all who loved him in closer touch with God and each other. Their hearts hunger for him today but he is safte from all earth's peril and sin, and some glad day in the Father's house we may meet him again. The sympathy of a large circle of friends goes out to the grief stricken parents, grandparents and other relatives in their sorrow. Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon from the Congregational church in charge of Rev. W.A. Alcorn with interment in the Arcadia cemetery. Four young ladies, Hazel Cox, Hattie Cox, Helen Brown and Opal Carmody bore the little body to its last resting place. --Courtesy of The Ord Quiz, Thursday, February 17, 1927--
