Bio

Mrs. Emilie Ann Eilers, 75, of Fayetteville, passed away Saturday at Fayette Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10- a.m. at St. John Catholic Church with the Rev. Ben Mazurkiewicz officiating. Burial will be in the Fayetteville Catholic Cemetery. A lifelong resident of Fayetteville, she was born Aug. 1, 1908, the daughter of the late Joseph and Julie (Poncik) Lukas. She was united in marriage with Louis F. Eilers Sr. on Aug. 22, 1950 in Fayetteville. Mrs. Eilers was a café owner and was a member of the KJZT. Surviving are her husband, Louis F. Eilers Sr. of Fayetteville; a step-son, Louis F. Eilers Jr. of Pearland; three sisters, Stephanie Bertsch of Fayetteville, Claudie Bordovsky of Plum and Loraine Drawe of Lancaster; one brother, Clarence J. Lukas of Stockton, Ca.; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Rudolph Cervenka, and one brother, Joseph. Koenig-Peel Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
