s/o Thomas Small and Belle Bilderback, married November 12, 1872 in McMinn County, TN Note: Stone has 1888 as year of birth, but the 1900 Census and James's WWI and WWII registration cards all say 1885. From the Fort Worth Star-Telegram , Friday, July 6, 1956, p. 21: Small, James Thomas, 68, residence, 949 Baltimore. Survivors, wife, one sister, Mrs. Hattie Bryan, both of Fort Worth; two nephews, Charles Reed, Sr.; Billy Reed; grand-nephew, Charles Reed Jr., all of Springtown. Services, 10 a.m. Friday, Gause-Ware Memorial Chapel, Rev. W. W. Phelps, officiating. Interment, Greenwood. Arrangements, Gause-Ware.
