Flora G. Harwood Gibb was the daughter of James Harwood and Sarah Jane Taylor Harwood. She married William Henry Gibb and was the mother of six daughters. Myrtle, Flora Velma, Clara, Bertha, Sarah Jane {Jayna}, and Alice.
