Fred J. Kovar, age 78, of McCoy Texas (formerly of Houston, Texas), passed away in Jourdanton, Texas on Thursday, October 2, 2008. He was born in Fayetteville, Texas on January 19, 1930 to Henry and Sophie Kovar. Fred is preceded in death by one brother and three sisters. Fred is survived by one son and one daughter. He is also survived by his brother, Frank Kovar and wife Rose of Wallis, Texas. He will be missed most by those closest to him, that he relied on, Frances and James Regner of McCoy, they were always there when he needed them. A rosary and funeral service will be held at St. Andrew Catholic Church at 10:00AM on Monday, October 6, 2008. Interment will be at St. Matthew's Catholic Cemetery in Jourdanton, Texas.
