Virgie Mae Moore Born in Bosque County, Texas on Nov. 12, 1909 Departed on Jun. 29, 2004 and resided in Whitney, TX. Graveside Service: Wednesday Jun. 30, 2004 Cemetery: Whitney Memorial Park Virgie Mae Moore, 94, of Whitney died June 29, 2004 in Whitney at a local nursing home. She was the daughter of Will and Minnie L. (Kimbrough) Harris. She married John M. Moore on September 26, 1928 in Bosque County and he preceded her in death on March 6, 1978. She liked gardening, raising chickens and cattle. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church. She was also preceded in death by her parents and son, John E. Moore on August 2, 2003. Survivors include her son, Harvey Moore and wife, Jean; stepdaughters, Pauline Kelsey, Marie Chapman; granddaughter, Barbara Moore and grandson, James Smith. Marshall and Marshall
