Bio

JAMES HYRUM BOGGS was born in a small side in the road called Leeds, Utah. His occupation was a blacksmith had filled out a short, stocky Irish frame with muscles where muscles ought to be. In very deed he was and looked like the village Smithy. They lived in a adobe house with grandmother Jeanette Burton Taylor Smithson. In 1923, with little money in his pocket, James Hyrum Boggs hitchhiked to Los Angeles, California aboard a truck full of horses. It took him nearly two weeks. He found work almost at once with the C.C.Crandall Construction Co. Within a couple of months he sent for his family.
