Wayne County Outlook 16 Mar 1967 Joe W. Marcum, 81, of Alpha, passed away Monday afternoon at the Cumberland County Hospital. Survivors include his wife, Edna F. Marcum, one son, James Marcum of Alpha, four daughters, Mrs. Ethel Owens, Rockford, Illinois, Mrs. Pearl Burris of New Castle, Indiana, Mrs. Eva Kempton, Alpha and Mrs. Elsa Combest, Alpha, one brother, Ermon Marcum and three sisters, Mrs. Minnie Campbell, Monticello, Mrs. Belle Sheffield and Cora Marcum, Alpha. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm Tuesday at Walnut Grove Church, Rev. Travis Keltner officiating. Interment will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Dyer Funeral Home in charge.
