A service for Gathia L. Hodge Anderson, 56, of Los Calinos, Texas, who passed away Dec. 24, 2005, at Los Calinos Medical Center was held in the Brown's Funeral Service Chapel today at 2 p.m. Ray Mayhew officiated. Gathia was born Sept. 1, 1949, in Caddo to Johnnie "Dick" Hodge and Ada Ella Deason. She attended Caddo schools and also attended business school in Denison, Texas. Gathia married Walter L. Anderson Sept. 27, 1997, in Los Calinos and worked as a secretary for Hartford Ins. in Dallas for 11 years. She was a member of the Caddo Church of Christ and enjoyed reading and spending time with family. Gathia will be greatly missed. She is preceded in death by her grandmother Rae Deason Hodge and grandfather Joe W. Hodge. Gathia is survived by parents Johnnie "Dick" and Ada Hodge of Caddo; husband Walter Lee Anderson of the home; brothers Danny and wife Beth Hodge, Plano, Texas, Steven and Nikki Hodge, Anna, Texas, and Ronnie Joe and Jennifer Hodge, Caddo; sister Karen Cagle (Hodge) and husband Danny, Rapid City, Mich.; nieces Angela Maze and husband Scott, McKinney,Texas, Nina Hodge, Colorado Springs, Colo., and Lesley Spost and husband Nick, Sherman, Texas; nephews Jerrod Hodge,f Tom Bean, Texas, and Christopher and Andrew Baas, Anna; grand-nephews Chandler and Dillon Maze; aunts and uncles Bobby and Pat Deason, Jimmy and Royce Hodge, and Lois and Birdie Hodge; many other relatives and a host of dear friends. Interment was in Gethesemene Cemetery in Caddo with nephews Jerrod Hodge, Christopher Baas, Andrew Baas, Nick Spost, Scott Maze and Stephen Beck who served as pallbearers.
