Martha Alma Harrison, 92, of Fairfield, passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2012, in Fairfield. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, May 9, 2012, at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home, Fairfield. Services will be 1 p.m., Thursday, May 10, 2012, at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home Chapel, Fairfield with Bro. Terry Skinner and grandson, Steve Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Post Oak Cemetery. She was born in Post Oak, Texas, to the late Simeon and Annie Chavers. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church a faithful follower of Christ. She is preceded in death by husband, Everett Dean Harrison Sr.; great-grandson, Matt Virgel; two sisters; three brothers; and daughter-in-law, Lois Harrison. She is survived by her sons, Dean Harrison and wife, Joann, of Greenville, and David Harrison and wife, Suzanne, of Cypress; daughter, Kathy Beaver and husband, Kenneth, of Fairfield; grandchildren, Jennifer Kelley and husband, Russell, of Rockwall, Skip Harrison, of Yorba Linda, California, Shaunda Knight and husband, Joe, of Greenville, Deidre Johnson and husband, Steve, of Greenville, Jill Frasca and husband, John, of Tomball, Davy Harrison, of Cypress, and Chad Harrison and wife, Amy, of Tomball, Paul Beaver, of West Columbia, and Keenan Sherfy and wife, Ashley, of San Antonio; 19 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Lurlene Tisdale, of Fairfield, Ruth Moore, of Houston, and Jimmie Weaver, of Center; and sister-in-law, Juanita Chavers; other family members and many friends.
