Jewel Margaret Armbruster, 91, passed away Monday, September 7, 2015 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Funeral Services will be held at 3pm Wednesday, September 9, at Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home. Officiating the service is Alec Haigood; Interim Pastor of First Baptist Church Lakeside City. Burial will be on Thursday at Live Oak Cemetery in Manchaca, Texas. Margaret was born January 1, 1924 to James William Jay Sr. and Cora May Jay in Clyde, Texas. She loved sewing, tennis, golf, swimming, and fishing in her younger years. In her later years, she loved playing Bingo and Skip-Bo, and visiting friends. Margaret had a passion for making people smile. She had a marvelous sense of humor. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Lakeside City and had accepted Christ as her savior when she was a Junior in high school. She was also a member of Faith Chapter 713; Order of the Eastern Star. She is preceded in death by: parents; James and Cora Jay, brother; James Jay Jr., sister; Hazel Kerr, husbands; Herman Armbruster and Ed Allison, and son; Isidor Jay Armbruster. She is survived by: brother-in-laws; Chester, Ervin, and Glynn Armbruster, and four nieces and five nephews.
