thejournal-news Kenneth Wilson, 88 Posted: Sunday, April 8, 2012 7:35 pm Kenneth Milton Wilson, 88, of Litchfield died Saturday, April 7, 2012, at 5:30 p.m. in Hillsboro Area Hospital. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, April 11, at 11 a.m. in the Ware's Grove Lutheran Church in rural Butler. The Rev. John Jaffry will officiate, and burial will be in Ware's Grove Cemetery. Visitation is from 4 until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 10, in the Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield. Mr. Wilson was born on May 31, 1923, in Hillsboro to Edgar Lee and M. Alma (Miles) Wilson A 1941 Hillsboro High graduate, he married Alberta Mae Madsen on Jan. 31, 1948, in Walnut. She preceded him in death on March 6, 2010. His parents and a sister, Mary Lee Smith, also preceded him. He is survived by one son, Robert L. Wilson (companion Carol Jarden) of Litchfield; two daughters, Debra (husband Jeff) Wood of Princeton and Donna (husband Dr. Keith) Probst of Estherville, IA; three grandchildren, Janelle Lee (husband Mike) Smith and Connor B. and Gretchen D. Probst; one greatgrandson, Mijael Smith; and several nieces and nephews. A lifelong member of the Ware's Grove Lutheran Church in rural Butler, he served on the church council and as Sunday School superintendent. He farmed all his life in Butler Grove and North Litchfield Townships and belonged to the Montgomery County Pork Producers, the Livestock Feeders Association, the Mid-State Tractor Collectors' Club, the Montgomery County Soil Conservation Board and the Montgomery County Farm Bureau (which he served as its director). He was also a director of the M&M Service Company - FS Cooperative and was a 4-H leader. The family suggests memorials may be directed to the Ware's Grove Lutheran Church,
