-m-6-15-1962 1st, Catherine Roberta "Stanley" (1943-2005) but later divorced. -m- 9-21-1972 2nd, Carolyn Ann "McKenzie" Bystrickey. s/o Frank & Mary Josephine "Mayer" Vasko. Eugene F. Vasko, Sr., age 73 a native and lifelong resident of Silverhill died Tuesday, May 1, 2012. Mr. Vasko was a talented carpenter. He enjoyed farming, hunting and fishing. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn McKenzie Vasko of Silverhill; daughter, Margo (Stephen) Devine of Loxley; 6 sons, Frank (Tracy) Vasko, Thomas Aaron Vasko both of Silverhill, Steve Vasko of Loxley, AL, Mike (Jenny) Vasko of Jacksonville, FL, Joe (Jenny) Bystricky and Micheal (Carla) Bystricky both of Silverhill, brother, Steve (Becky) Vasko of Silverhill and 10 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 4, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Mack Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Silverhill Cemetery. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service Friday at Mack Funeral Home. Arrangements are by Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, Hwy. 59, Robertsdale, AL.
