Mick Pearson, son of Emil and Lu Lu Ann (McFarland) Pearson,grandson of James William and Alye Ann (Kimple) McFarland - no children Malcom (Mick) Pearson 75 of 944 S. Oak St. died Wednesday afternoon at an Omaha hospital, services will be Saturday at 1:30 P.M. at Apfel-Butler-Geddes Funeral Home with the Rev. F. Hauser offiiciating. Burial will be in Westlawn cemetery. Visitation will be from 3-9 P.M. Friday at the funeral home, memorials are suggested to Trinty United Methodist Church. Mr Pearson was born July 12,1903, the son of Emil and Lu Lu Ann (McFarland) Pearson, He attended school and grew up on the Pearson farm in the Wood River area. In 1940 he began employment with the Union Pacific Railroad, after serving in the armed forces during World War II he was made forman on the railroad. On July 29, 1953 he married Lillian Carlson at Broken Bow Nebraska,The couple lived in Grand Island. Mr. Pearson retired in 1968, he was a member of Eagles Lodge Aerie No 378, American Legion Post No. 53, Trinity United Methodist Church and the Union Pacific Old Timers, survivors include his widow, four sisters, Mrs LLoyd (Loretta) Witt and Mrs. Ivan (Jacki/Leona) Shurigar of Kenesaw, Thea Cox of Hastings, Violet Bourge of Wood River, two brothers, Elmer Pearson of Wood River and Cecil Pearson of Shelton, preceded in death by his parents and one brother Clair
