Bio

Funeral services were held for Helen Irene Havard, 82, of Lucedale on Thursday, October 8, 2009 at 12 p.m. at George County Funeral Home Chapel. Interment followed in Rocky Creek Cemetery with William Culp and Bennis Harrison conducting the services. A homemaker, she died October 6, 2009. She is survived by her husband, Will Roy Havard; a son, David Roy (Pat) Havard of New Orleans, LA; granddaughter Greta DeVaughan, a sister Imogene Maddox of San Antonio, Texas; a niece and nephew Kathy and Ray Thomley, both of Lucedale. Pallbearers were Terry Brockway, Don Corden, A. B. Goff, Ricky Brockway, Mike Fryfogle and David Eubanks. George County Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
