Thanks to MHK for Parent Links. Thanks to Jim Young for information below. Levi Washington and Permelia Elizabeth "Lizzie" Kemp Hackett. Levi was born Oct 22, 1844 and died Sep 15, 1935. He was the son of Buck and Mahala Hackett. Lizzie, born December 11, 1847 and died June 20, 1927 was the daughter of John Wilson and Judith Panky Kemp. Levi and Lizzie were married Sep 17, 1868 and became the parents of six children: Floyd, Burger, Hugh, Johnny, Sallie and Lucy. Levi was a "giant of a man" and looked like an Indian. Levi and Lizzie lived in the Difficult community of Smith County.
