The Edgar Sun (Edgar, NE) Thu. Sep 8, 1966 - Pg 3 Death of Mrs. Kinniman's Father Wednesday Mr. and Mrs.. Orville Kinnaman were called to Republican City Wednesday, Aug. 31 by the unexpected death of her father, Robert R. Patterson. Mr. Patterson, 73, was in his usual good health when he became ill while mowing that afternoon. Funeral services were held Saturday at 2 o'clock in the Republican City Methodist Church with Rev. Joe Baer officiating and the Zulauf-Banta Funeral Home of Alma in charge. Burial was in the Republican City Cemetery. Survivors include his wife Emma; sons and daughters, Cloyd of Long Island, Kan.; Robert Patterson, Jr. of Hastings; Mrs. Alta Kinnaman of Edgar and Mrs. Erma Wernert of Novinger, Mo.; 16 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren and two brothers, Cloyd of Hastings and Olie of Camas, wash. Mr. and Mrs. Kinnaman and Kent returned to Edgar Sunday and their daughter and family Mr. and Mrs. Gary Shuck, Terry and Rodney and Maurice Kinnison returned home Monday afternoon. The Shuck's baby stayed with Mr. and Mrs. Bill George while they were gone.
