Bio

Mildred Martindale, 84, died Wednesday, June 20, 2001. Services will be at 2 p.m. today in the Eleventh Street Baptist Church in Shamrock with the Rev. Chip Bryant, pastor, and Joe. G. Jernigan officiating. Burial will be in Dozier Cemetery in Dozier. Arrangements are by Wright Funeral Directors of Shamrock. Mrs. Martindale was born July 9, 1916, in Dozier, and had lived in Collingsworth County all of her life. She was a homemaker and had quilted for the public for more than 40 years. Survivors include her husband, Buck Martindale of Shamrock.
