Bio

Eliza Holcomb was the daughter of William Jackson Holcomb and Eliza Permelia Ann Davis. She married James T. Hall on 5 May 1889 in Ellis Co, TX. She married second Jesse Harmon Hodges on 7 Aug 1919 in Motley Co, TX. She was his third wife. Her death certificate says she was buried in Matador, Motley Co, TX. Jesse Harmon Hodges, second wife Mary Isabelle "Belle" (Ritter) Hodges, and third wife Eliza (Holcomb) Hodges are all buried at Matador. Eliza Holcomb was married twice.....and she was buried with her first husband James T. Hall. Eliza Holcomb married second Jesse Harmon Hodges on 7 Aug 1919 in Motley Co, TX. (Jesse Harmon Hodges married MRS. Eliza Hall.) She was his third wife (Minerva Ann "Annie" Hall [Find A Grave Memorial # 28057061], Mary Isabelle "Belle" Ritter [Find A Grave Memorial # 32394664...also buried in the East Mound Cemetery], Eliza Holcomb.). I guess she was buried with her first husband because she had all of her children with James T. Hall. According to her DC, her parents were John Holcomb and Permelia Davis.
