Married Mary Elizabeth McGilvray on 09 Dc 1868 in Jones Co., MS. and emigrated to Texas from Mississippi. WACO TIMES HERALD SUNDAY AUGUST 19, 1928 W. A. FERGUSON Funeral services for W. A. Ferguson, aged 80, for over 50 years a resident of Abbott, will take place this afternoon from the Abbott Methodist church, with Rev. M. L. Boone of Eddy officiating, assisted by Rev. R. A. Burt of Abbott. Mr. Ferguson died yesterday morning at Marlin at 11 o'clock. Interment will take place at Abbott Cemetery. The body will be taken to Abbott in a Wilkerson & Hatch hearse. The deceased is survived by seven children, four boys and three daughters: William, Norman, John and Sam Ferguson; Mrs. D.B. Wallace, Atoka Okla; Mrs Stella Elliott, San Antonio, and Mrs. Nellie Wallace of Hillsboro. Pallbearers for the funeral will be Oscar Eastland, J.W. Kennedy, Chriss Stanphill, S.N. Corbin, C.A.
