William S. McKibben was the husband of Mattie E. Croft McKibben. A very short newsclip about his death was in "The Gadsden Times"; newspaper; Etowah Co., AL; May 6, 1918: W. S. McKibben, one of the best known men of Alabama City, died suddenly there this morning. He was 56 years old and worked at Dwight Mfg. Company.
