Obituary Gonzales Inquirer Sep. 27, 1973 Ray W. Neuse Rites Wednesday Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. from the St. James Catholic church for Ray W, Neuse, who died in a Corpus Christi hospital at 3:45 p.m. Monday. Burial will be in the City cemetery under the direction of Seydler-Hill Funeral Home. Mr. Neuse was born in Gonzales, the son of Eugene and Ida Braune Neuse. He was married to Carrie M. Hanzelka and the family home was at 1336 10th street, Corpus Christi. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the Catholic church. He had been an employee of the Central Power and Light Company for 19 years, working in Victoria and Sinton as well as Corpus Christi. He attended Yoakum Business College. Survivors are his widow; one sister, Mrs. Esther Salinger of Corpus Christi; two brothers, Eugene and Roy Neuse, both of Gonzales.
