Bio

Hattie Lee, loving wife and mother, passed away at the age of 44 at the Biloxi City Hospital in Biloxi Mississippi, on June 23, 1926, from heart failure. Her husband Asbury Ransom Ramsay and her 4-year-old daughter Ida Leah Ramsay preceded her in death. Six young children, three sons, John, Felix and Kenneth, and three daughters, Nora, Gladys and Eva, survived Hattie. Eva was born only 28 days prior to her mother's death. All six children were placed in orphanages but in 1954, these children were reunited.
