Bio

Randell R. McCaffity, 74, went to be with his Lord on Sunday, April 15, 2012, after a courageous battle with cancer. The funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, 2012, in the chapel of Owens and Brumley Funeral Home with Rev. Doyle Fuller officiating. Interment with military honors will follow at Crestview Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the direction of Owens and Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls. A son of the late Raymond Benjamin and Betty Pebble (Hendricks) McCaffity, Randell was born September 27, 1937, in Grand Saline, Texas. He married the love of his life, Shirley Ross Morgan, on October 9, 1959. Randell served in the United States Navy for 23 years and later retired from Seimens and Stanley Tools. Randell is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Shirley McCaffity; five children, son, Shelby Ray McCaffity of Bothell, WA; daughter, Sharon Jackson and husband, Tommy, of Byers, son, Randy McCaffity and wife, Letitia, daughter, Rhonda McCaffity, daughter, Rebecca Dunaway, all of Wichita Falls; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren. He was loved and admired by many and will be very dearly missed. The family will receive friends and family from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 17, 2012, at the funeral home.
