Bio

Father of W.Edward Pickard who became mayor of Kaufman. Beloved husband to Sarah Elizabeth Cooper (dau of Col. Robert Melville and Catherine Cooper Cooper) (1836-1919). Likely lead the first Pickard family group to Kaufman. Came to Kaufman with his wife and all his children (except Mary Allen) likely around 1885.
