Funeral services for Don (Daddy Don) Hertzog, 67, Lawton, will be at 2:00 pm Monday at Letitia Baptist Church, East of Lawton, with Rev. Bubba Clark, Pastor of CrossTimbers Church, Marlow, OK, officiating. Mr. Hertzog died Thursday in a Lawton hospital. Burial will be in Letitia Cemetery, East of Lawton, under the direction of the Becker Funeral Home & Cremation Service. He was born October 29, 1944 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Carl and Pauline Hertzog. He married Janie Bardsher on June 3, 1965 in Lawton. He worked as a lineman for PSO for 14 years, and then went to work for Goodyear where he retired after 19 years. He raised cattle and ranched all of his life, and enjoyed attending his grandchildren's numerous activities. He enjoyed helping those in need at anytime. Survivors include his wife Janie Hertzog of the home, four children Paula Hargrove and her husband Richard of Lawton, OK, Shari Snow and her husband Russell of Lawton, OK, Carla Elam and husband Rusty of Tuttle, OK, Donnie Hertzog and wife Nadine of Lawton, OK, nine grandchildren, Dillon Hargrove, Kaylee Snow, Alyssa Snow, Tiffani Snow, Berklee Snow, Austin Elam, Lynnsie Elam, Cael Elam and Don Patrick Hagen Hertzog. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Wm. Billy and Anna Hertzog, Hiram and Arnie Miller, his parents, Carl and Pauline Hertzog, his brother Dean Hertzog and his special friend "Cowboy"
