KEARNEY — Edith Wellmann, 90, of Kearney died Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2017, in Kearney. She was born Oct. 26, 1926, to Fred and Millie Schlote in Oconto. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joe; and her sister. She married Joe Wellmann in 1943. To this union, two daughters, Carolyn Jo and Catherine Ann, were born. They are her only survivors. She lived most of her life in Oconto. Ecclesiastes 3:1-6: “To everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven; a time to be born and a time to die; a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance; a time to get and a time to lose.”
